Best Early-Game Honor Farming Method
Earn Honor from Auxiliary Stages.
Repeating Auxiliary Stages allows you to earn to Honors, Gold, and EXP continuously during the early game.
Most notably, The Sigil's Trial, Moderate 1, is one of the best stages to generate a lot of Honor quickly in the early stages of the main story.
It is also highly recommended to take advantage of the stage's catapults and ballistae to complete the stage easily and keep earning Honors and other resources.
Complete Deliveries.
Completing Deliveries in towns and newly rebuilt towns will let you earn Honors.
Once a town is successfully rebuilt, you will be able to take on deliveries as many times as you want; therefore, if you have the materials and resources for deliveries, do them to earn a large amount of Honors.
Materials and items required for deliveries can be picked up from the field or the overworld. Additionally, units placed on the field will automatically pick up materials nearby.

Clearing main story stages, auxiliary stages, and side quests will earn you Honors, so it is highly suggested to try to clear them all, especially the side quests and those that are repeatable.
Deliveries are also an excellent way to earn lots of Honors. You can even deliver items to towns that have recently been rebuilt. Please keep in mind that garrison units stationed in rebuilt towns will automatically collect materials every time you clear a stage.
In addition, defeating enemies in unexplored areas will earn you 1 Honor each time you win the battle. These enemies are usually at a lower level compared to yours, so the battle will be over in a short time and will allow you to earn Honors quickly.

Honors are required to hire mercenaries at the Fort.
Honors are also required to increase the number of units in your troops. This can be done by using "Unit Expansion", which can be unlocked when you increase your Reputation Rank.
Aside from that, a large amount of Honors is required when changing classes or changing into higher classes.
