Use Wakestones to Revive Dead NPCs.

To revive dead NPCs at a morgue or charnel house in Dragon's Dogma 2, you must use Wakestones, a rare consumable item found in the game.

Dragon's Dogma 2 features a permadeath system which prevents you from interacting with NPCs that have been killed. This may lock you out of certain quests, obtainable rewards, and other useful features unless you bring back deceased characters associated with them in the game.

Can also be used to revive characters in battle.

Wakestones are also used to revive your character (Arisen) and Pawns upon death in battle. After using a Wakestone, any reductions to maximum health that you incur as a result of taking damage are erased, essentially allowing you to revive at full capacity.

How to Get Wakestones

You can get Wakestones as as loot, quest rewards, or from gathering Wakestone Shards. The last are found scattered all throughout the game so scouring every nook and cranny of a map is recommended if you want to avoid missing out on these valuables while exploring.

Eternal Wakestone

A rare variant of the Wakestone called the Eternal Wakestone allows you to revive multiple dead NPCs in a single use. This item can only be obtained by defeating the Sphinx after solving all 10 of her riddles.
