Ambivalent Rift Incense Gives the Main Pawn a new Inclination.
Kindhearted Rift Incense Gives the Main Pawn the Kindhearted Inclination, making them employ a more balanced approach in battle but favoring Support more.
Calm Rift Incense Gives the Main Pawn the Calm Inclination, making them prioritize defense and evasion more in battle.
Simple Rift Incense Gives the Main Pawn the Simple Inclination, making them more diligent in looting items from slain enemies.
Straightforward Rift Incense Gives the Main Pawn the Straightforward Inclination, making them more likely to take on enemies head-on in battle.

How to Get Rift Incenses

Rift Incenses can be purchased form various merchants and vendors in the game. They typically go for 500 RC which is quite a hefty amount.

Alternatively, it is also possible to buy Rift Incenses as paid DLC (requires real money) if you need more of them in the game.

What are Inclinations in Dragon's Dogma 2?

Inclinations are a type of special Pawn trait in Dragon's Dogma 2. Depending on their Inclination, a Pawn will behave differently in battle and will often prioritize certain actions over others.

Inclination Effects

  • Pawn Inclination determines how a Pawn will fight. Because of this certain Inclinations will be more suited to specific vocations, allowing them to more effectively fulfill their role in the party.
  • Pawn Inclination also affects a Pawn's voice and speaking tone. A Straightforward Pawn, for instance, will have sound more guttural and speak in a less restrained manner compared to other Pawns of different Inclinations.
  • Pawn Inclination also determines the unique actions that Pawns perform in and out of battle, including special gestures and non-verbal expressions.
