Requires to do Side Quest: A Place to Call Home
You can have a house in Dragon's Dogma 2 where you can spend time resting in a bed or using it as a personal storage space. Owning a house may be very helpful as you can save money on your own dwelling and avoid paying additional costs like those at an inn.
After clearing the side quest "A Place to Call Home", you can buy a dwelling from Mildred in Vernworth. You have to stay there for a week until she decides to sell it, but if you have the money for it, you can buy it instantly. If you choose to refuse and do not have enough money right now, you can return at any moment because the deal remains available.
Unlocks Achievement: "A House? In This Economy?"
This achievement can only be acquired if you make a purchase from Mildred. She is asking for 20,000 G in exchange to having your own dwelling, it is quite expensive, but don't worry, it remains valid until you can afford it and purchase your own house in Vernworth.
